This mod el, in contrast to paradigms advanced by leftist feminists or those desiring tra ditional sex roles, pragmatically at tempts through incremental political change to refine processes that foster individual choice, instead of seeking particular outcomes through such mechanisms as quotas and comparable worth laws. After setting out this ana lytical framework, the authors critique recent Supreme Court decisions and then examine specific work-place and family topics.
